As far as i can work out this is what has happened to our Safety Management System since being "approved" by the Council's Technical Advisors, Aitkins;

Cabinet Members couldn't reach a unanimous descision to bring back wind powered wheel sports to St. Anne's Beach

Then it was referred to the "Policy Development Scrutiny Committee".

This committee met on the 2nd of Feb 2010.

I felt quite frustrated at the meeting as i hadn't quite understood the scrutiny meeting system, apparently the public, providing they declare and interest prior to the start of the meeting CAN speak.  Unfortunatly i had been told that this was not the case so didn't register my interest.

Some questions were asked which i could quite easily have answered for the committee.  This mistake (on my part) has led to the committee setting up a working group to look at the issues in more detail in order, (and in their words), "to reach a descision more quickly".
